Professional Development Registry

Arizona’s Career Registry S∂CCEEDS (Statewide Child Care and Early Education Professional Development System): a voluntary, statewide career registry program designed to improve the status of individuals working in the child care and early education profession. S∂CCEEDS allows practitioners to track training, education, and work experience over the course of their career.

Public/Private Partnerships

Child Care Professional Training (CCPT). A two week training course designed to prepare individuals for employment in the early care and education profession. This project is a collaboration of the Association for Supportive Child Care, the Arizona Child Care Association (Northern Chapter) and Family Service Agency

Tiered Reimbursement Rates

Arizona pays higher reimbursement rates to child care centers and family child care programs that are accredited by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA), Association for Christian School International (ASCI), National Accreditation Council for Early Childhood Professional Personnel and Program (NACECPP), National Accreditation Commission for Early Childhood Professional Personnel and Program (NAC), American Montessori Society (AMS) and National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC).

S∂CCEEDS. Like many professional development registry systems, S∂CCEEDS is linked to a career lattice that awarded practitioners financial incentives when they reach a higher career level.
